The Amazing Spider-Man [MOVIE]

Firstly, I was a fan of the originals from 2002 on.
I clearly remember drawing a spider on my shirt for the third film, and going to see it on the day of theater release.
After seeing the preview for the "remake," I knew I had to see it. I was skeptical about Andrew Garfield about playing Peter Parker; however, I knew I would love this movie far more than the 2002 film just because Emma Stone and Rhys Ifans would be in it, and I was right!
It was spectacular, and so was Andrew Garfield.
In this adaption, Peter Parker tries to find out the history of his past and why his parents left him. That journey leads him to Dr. Curt Connors (Ifans) who was a close friend and colleague of Parker's fathers.
Although we don't have Mary Jane in this adaption, we do have Gwen Stacey (Stone), which worked out nicely in the plot of the story.
We all know Peter Parker gets bit by a "radioactive" or other type of genetically modified spider and gains abilities natural to a spider.

This film was far more serious, emotionally deeper, and funnier than the quirky original featuring Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man.

I would definitely call it "The Amazing" Spider-Man, over just "Spider-Man," when comparing it to the original film adaption.
