Womb [MOVIE]

Two children meet and become friends.
At an age of innocence, they roam beaches and giggle at Grandfather's wrinkles though a magnifying glass.
When Rebecca has to move away to Japan, Tommy is heartbroken and promises to meet her at the ferry before she leaves... he doesn't make it.
Twelve years pass by until she returns to the beaches on which they used to play.
Once she finds Thomas, living in a modest sea shack, they seem to pick up just as they had left off. That is, until disaster strikes.
Rebecca is heartbroken after waiting all these years to see him and then loses him again, but this time, she refuses to part with him.
Although Thomas's mother disagrees, his father meets with Rebecca in secret to do an act considered by many parents to be taboo: cloning.
Womb takes us through the emotional tribulations of bearing a child you love both as a mother and as a spouse. Although set at a slow pace, the benefits of seeing a mother, lover, and society act to something we do not experience in daily life, which in my opinion, is worth it.

This film stars the popular and talented Eva Green and Matt Smith.
Green is known for appearing in Casino Royale and Dark Shadows.
Smith is known for appearing in Doctor Who (as The Doctor) and Christopher and His Kind (as Christopher).

Although this film in itself seems fairly taboo and even seemingly revolting, is is a great film that causes you to think and feel things you hadn't before you witnessed in this realistic masterpiece.
