The Mighty Boosh [TV]

 Welcome to the Zooniverse...
come with us now, on a journey through time and space!
What do you get when you cross two straight men, one, a fashion-loving, punk-rocking, mod-talking, ray of sunshine, and the other, a depressed, small-eyed, Jazz enthusiast, always trying to better himself, and... a stoner shaman, and a dancing dumbass? Oh, and a gorilla called Bollo? Well, let me tell you. It's not a gang of hardware store employees. It is, in fact, The Mighty Boosh; created by comedians Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding, who also star the show. I will warn you, the five main actors/comedians play nearly all of the other characters. No, this isn't a spoof comedy... personally, I've never seen a show with more imagination, color, comedy, and creativity.
The first season Vince Noir (Rock and Roll Star) and Howard Moon (Acting Buffoon) live and work in a zoo, which is ran by the dancing dumbass, Bob Fossil (Rich Fulcher). Among the other workers at the zoo, there is the stoner shaman, Naboo, who is played by Noel Fielding's younger brother Michael Fielding. Oh, and the gorilla. His name is Bollo, (Dave Brown).
In the second season, Vince, Howard, Naboo, and Bollo live in an apartment above Nabootique, a shop owned by the shaman, which is where they also live in season three. In these two seasons, Vince and Howard face different scenarios while trying to make it in the music business. For them, creativity is key.
There is also a catchy song in all of the episodes written by Barratt and Fielding; however, Barratt is the instrumentalist and music composer. (Who is very talented).
This British show isn't for everyone, but there's a sense of innocence about the humor that most British television shows do not have.
